Residential Security Deposit: $250.00 or two times the average electric bill (whichever is higher).

Service Fee to Connect New Account: $25.00

Same Day Connect Fee: $50.00

Transfer Fee: $10.00 (fee to transfer exsisting service from one name to another).

Credit Check Fee: $3.00

Basic Facility Charge: $15.00 per month

Reconnect Fee for non-payment during regular hours (8am-3pm): $35.00

Reconnect Fee for non-payment after office hours (3pm-11pm): $75.00

Reconnect Fee for non-payment after hours (11pm-8am), Holidays and Weekends: $100.00

Collection Fee: $25.00

Penalty Fee: 1-1/2% (applied 25 days after date of bill on any outstanding balance)

Disconnect Notice Fee: $5.00

Return Check or Draft Fee: $20.00

Security Light (175 Watts - Overhead): $9.35 + 3% tax per month

Security Light Relocation Fee: $50.00 (fee to move yard light only)

Security Light & Pole Relocation Fee: $100.00

Meter Test Fee: $25.00 - The meter will be taken off and tested by an independent meter test company.  The Meter Test Fee is refunable if the meter in question is found to be not in the limits of accuracy (plus or minus 2%) as established by the NC Utilities Commission.

Meter Tampering Fee: $50.00
