The Powering Our Future Scholarships are provided through fundraising by the Surry-Yadkin EMC Community Projects Committee, made up of employees from across the cooperative. There are three scholarship opportunities within this program — a Line School Scholarship, a Community College Scholarship and a 4-Year College/University Scholarship.

Scholarship applications are being accepted through May 31, 2026.
